Needed a trenchless sewer repair at an inconvenient time

Have you ever noticed that plumbing disasters happen at the worst possible time? I recently had my family over for Easter.

I was hosting a huge get together and had everything planned just right.

The inside was all cleaned and set up for the entire family. Outside I had mowed the lawn, trimmed my bushes, and hid colored eggs for the kids. I even had yard games set up. When the family ventured outside everyone remarked on the smell. It smelled like an old dumpster mixed with toilet water. Then I found water seeping up in my lawn. I had an issue with my septic system. I figured I just needed the septic pumped, but I didn’t want to leave that until the next business day. I wanted to remove the smell so my family would be comfortable. I called for an emergency plumber to take care of the septic issues. Well it turns out it wasn’t a clogged septic tank but a drain field issue. I needed to have my lawn dug up to access the drain field in order to make the repair. I was breaking out in hives of the thought of my lawn being torn up during a party. So I ended up moving everyone inside and doing the drainfield repair at a later date. I am thankful that I called around and found a plumbing business that does trenchless plumbing. They were able to access the repair without digging deep into the ground and making a huge mess. The trenchless sewer repair went as quick and easy as it could have been.
