When my youngsters were forced to stay at condo and continue learning from our house, it threw everything into chaos, then my spouse and I were also told to start laboring from home, so all of us were juggling our own responsibilities while also trying to stay out of each other’s way, thankfully, our youngsters are older, so they don’t need to be hovered over for extended periods of time… In order to make things function better, my buddy and I had to transfer a lot of furniture around.
My youngsters had desks in their rooms and my spouse and I each bought a desk for ourselves.
There was one designated office, which my spouse graciously allowed me to take; He built his desk in our home office, then a few weeks into our current arrangement, my buddy and I noticed our utility bill was higher than normal. Then, my buddy and I started noticing that there were particular rooms in our condo that weren’t cooling consistently. At first, my spouse and I assumed it was because my buddy and I were all under one roof regularly and my buddy and I were possibly throwing the entire Heating and A/C system off kilter, and one evening though, I could hear the AC unit starting and stopping over the sound of the TV. I also noticed that the home office was growing sizzling and warmer each day, however putting two and two together, I realized that my spouse had built his desk over the air vent. All the air was getting trapped underneath and it was causing our AC system to cut down. Once my buddy and I moved the desk, our Heating and A/C system began running normally again.
